Announcement

Since we've pretty much told everyone and made an announcement on facebook, I might at well post here...Evie's getting a little brother or sister in late September or early October (Oct 5th is the due date)!

Dr appt update

So Evie is getting bigger, just slowly :-)

15 lbs 8 oz and 25 inches tall. She's around the 25-30th percentiles. My peanut!

6 months old

I know this is a common theme, but I barely remember the past 6 months. Evie is as cute as ever. I guess some pictures would be nice to add for you all to see. Next post, I promise. Last week Evie finally said "da-da"! She'd been moving her mouth when we said it like she was trying, but didn't actually get the word out until last week. She 'talks' constantly. Now I'm pushing hard for ma-ma! Tomorrow's her 6 month appointment so I'll update with stats then.

Standing!

For very short periods of time Evie can support herself standing. This picture was actually taken a couple of weeks ago but things have been so crazy that I'm just now getting around to posting it! Anyways, shortly after this picture was taken she toppled over and started crying (bad mommy of me!), but all was good after a couple minutes of cuddling. Just one more testament to how fast she grows!
