Hair cut

For me, not Evie :-)

I chopped about 8 inches of hair off today...and it's still a bit longer than shoulder length. That was a ton of hair I was carrying around before! I like the new haircut. I'll post a pic when I have a minute (or when I get Shaun to take a good picture of me).

Last day!

Today is the last day at the temp job. Yay! I'm so glad to be out of this place! One interview set up for tomorrow for a new job. Not holding out much hope for it, so I may be off work for the summer...

Cranky pants leads to no sleep

Argh. Today is one of those days that I wish I could crawl back into bed. Evie sleeps 11 hours at night...normally. I think she's got another ear infection (or two) and just didn't want to stay asleep last night. I was lucky to get 1 hr uninterrupted between wakings. Hopefully, after the Dr visit, she'll be feeling better today.

If she does have an ear infection, that will be two following teething episodes. Hmmm...cause and effect? We'll see. She's now officially got 5 teeth! Two on top and three on the bottom. She has also discovered how to grind her teeth, which is an awful noise. Anyone have any advice on how to get her to stop grinding her teeth together?

Update: No ear infections. Just pressure on the ear drums caused by the extremely stuffy nose caused by the teething. I'm really surprised it's not an ear infection. She's been tugging at the right ear all weekend. Treatment includes suctioning out the nose on a very frequent basis to lessen the pressure (and the risk it will turn into an infection). Oh, and she's over 20 lbs now!

This weekend was great. We mostly just spend the weekend as a family, hanging out in Forest Lake and at the Minnesota Zoo. Very relaxing!

Proof the teeth exist

I've talked about the fact that Evie has teeth, but some of you have yet to see that. Most of the time she smiles without showing them off. Yesterday I finally caught them on film! For your viewing pleasure, I give you TEETH:

Can anyone tell me...are we supposed to start brushing them now? Seems odd to be brushing the teeth of a 10 month old, but I guess they still need to be protected like any other teeth.
